Research
I conduct basic research in positioning systems for health problems. My research tries to establish a positioning system for people with limited capacities. To solve the problem we use of machine learning algorithm to identify the type of propagation channel to consider the information provided by the line of sight channels.
Title: Detection and mitigation of body shadowing in a pedestrian localization and tracking system for vulnerable people using Machine Learning.
For this research, empirical measurements were taken at the Universidad del Cauca, this information is available under demand:
This work is under the supervision of Víctor Manuel Quintero of Universidad del Cauca and Alfonso Bahillo of Universidad de Valladolid.
